On Wednesday April 27, 2005 at 0350 hours, Engine 61 (FF Nasti) and Tanker 6 (Chief 6B; Hayes) were alerted to the Old Stinnett's Restaurant (across from Company 1) for the building fire along with Company 1 (North Beach), Company 15 (Navy Base), Company 5 (Dunkirk), and Company 2 (Prince Frederick). Engine 11 arrived immediately after dispatch reporting fire showing. Chief 1 (Freesland) arrived on the scene, assumed command and requested a 2nd alarm bringing Company 9 (Lothian), Company 42 (Deale), and Company 41 (Shadyside). First alarm units immediately went to work quickly bringing the fire under control without major fire spread. Engine 21 had to lay dual reverse lines from Engine 61 to Company 1 several hundred feet away. Huntingtown units remained on the scene until approximately 0600 hours. The fire is currently under investigation due to the building being vacant for quite some time.
