| Tuesday September 7, 2010 at 2340 hours, the Huntingtown Volunteers and Ambulance 58 (Dunkirk) were alerted for the auto accident in front of 490 Lower Marlboro Road. With units responding, supplemental information was received advising that it was a deputy and there was entrapment. This brought Squad 5 and the Medic to the call. Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6A (Montgomery), Chief 6C (Morris), Squad 6 (Montgomery Jr), Engine 62 (Safety Mckenny) and Ambulance 68 (Miller) arrived to find a single vehicle wrapped around a tree with the deputy entrapped. The Squad driver went to work stabilizing and securing the vehicle while the back step crew split into two teams removing both drivers and passengers side doors, the entire roof, and rolling the dash. The patient was flown to a local trauma center. Units cleared at 0031 hours. To respect the Calvert County Sheriffs Dept, only one picture will be uploaded from the incident.
