| Sunday May 2, 2010 at 0119 hours, Engine Companies 2, 83, 6 and 7, Tower 2, Squad 6, Tanker 7 & 83 and Ambulance 48 were alerted for the House Fire on Allen Earle Rd. This assignment brought Chief 6 (Riffe), Safety 6 (McKenny), Engine 61 (Nasti) and Squad 6 (Williams). Chief 2 arrived on location of a one-story residence with fire throughout the house and roof. Next arriving Engine 61 (3rd due) laid a supply line and stretched the crosslay to the side door. At the entrance was a gentleman reporting his grandson was trapped inside. Engine 61 began an aggressive interior attack knocking down the bulk of the fire and a primary search (ended up being negative). Squad 6's crew assisted with opening up and checking for extension. Units from the Huntingtown VFD operated until 0456 hours.
