Saturday December 20, 2009 at 0900 hours while 2' of snow was being dumped across the area, Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6B (Thrasher), Chief 6C (Morris), Engine 62 (Montgomery Jr) and Brush 6 (Miller) were alerted for the auto fire at 120 C Jones Road. Units arrived to find the engine compartment on fire of an auto. Due to Engine 62 not being able to access the vehicle due to the snow, Brush 6 extinguished the fire with the 3/4" booster line.

Later that afternoon around 1400 hours the same above units responded for an auto fire on Holland Cliff Road. Brush 6 arrived and found a stake-body truck 50% involved with fire. Again, Engine 62 was unable to access the vehicle due to the snow and the fire was extinguished with the 3/4" booster line off Brush 6.
