| Monday August 17, 2009 at 1602 hours, Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6B (Thrasher), Chief 6C (Morris), and Tanker 6 (Miller) were alerted for the house on fire at 1603 Cavalier Court (510 box). Chief 5 and Dunkirk units arrived at the one-story wood frame house with smoke showing from all 4 sides. This alerted Engine 62 (Randleman) 1st due to the Working Fire Dispatch. Crews found fire through the attic and due to quick work, the fire was quickly brought under control. Engine 62's crew worked the roof with 4 large vertical openings before assisting with overhauling the Interior. Tanker 6 assisted with Water Supply. Units from the Huntingtown VFD operated on the scene until 1653 hours.
