| This past Wednesday June 17, 2009, 7 members of Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department were invited to the annual Caitlin Meire Hurrey Golf Tournament at Twin Shields in Dunkirk, MD. This is the 4th year in a row that the department was personally invited by Caitlin Meire's father. This tournament has been ongoing for the past decade. In 1995, Caitlin perished in a car accident on Lower Marlboro Road. Since that time, her father has promised and has held a golf tournament every year in her name. All had a great time and appreciate the hospitality provided during the tournament. We look forward to next year! For more information, please visit: www.menc.org/golf. |
