At 1346 hours, Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6B (Thrasher), Chief 6C (Morris), Squad 6 (Lt Grierson), Engine 62 (Sgt Buckler), Engine 61 (Miller), and Ambulance 69 (Green), for a total of 21 Huntingtown Volunteers were alerted for the overturned vehicle, on fire, with people trapped in the area of the Wendy's fastfood establishment (211 box). Units arrived to find a single vehicle off the roadway into a group of trees. The vehicle was not overturned or on fire, however, the driver was trapped and semi-conscious. The crew from Squad 6 deployed the 32" Jaws and made quick work of removing one door. The patient was ground transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital. Units cleared at 1430 hours.
