Wednesday April 29, 2009 at 1355 hours (just after clearing two vehicle crashes), Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6A (Montgomery), Squad 6 (Hildwine), Engine 62 (Lt Grierson), and Ambulance 69 (Miller) were alerted for the overturned vehicle at Route 4 and Walton Road. In addition, Prince Frederick Squad 2, Ambulance 47, and Medic 105 were brought to the call. While en route, Communications advised that police were on the scene with the patient out of the vehicle. Units from the Huntingtown VFD arrived to find a pick-up truck that had rolled with the driver trapped. Squad 6 deployed the 32" Jaws, forced and removed the driver's side door. Squad 2 stabilized the passenger side of the vehicle. The patient was extricated and flown to PG Shock Trauma via Eagle One. Engine 62 handled the Landing Zone.
