Mobile Cascade Unit 6 operates at Navy Recreation Center

Tuesday April 28, 2009, shortly before 1830 hours, units from Solomons VRSFD were alerted for the boat fire at the Navy Recreation Center in Solomons, MD. Units arrived to find an 80' navy ship, and large pier well-involved with fire. The operation quickly went to a 2nd alarm with several resources special-alarmed to the call including Brush 6 & Mobile Cascade Unit 6 (S/O McKenny). Investigators are still working on determining the cause of the fire.
