Units arrived to find a one-story wood-frame house with smoke showing. A controlled burn by the homeowner spread to the house burning into the side and into the attic, causing heavy smoke conditions throughout the house. The crew from Engine 61 extended the 200' pre-connect quickly extinguishing the fire. Remaining units from the Huntingtown VFD and Engine 51 assisted with opening up and horizontal ventilation. At 1552 hours, units returned to service.
