| Thursday February 26, 2009, Brush 6 was returning from a large woods fire in Prince George's County. At 1643 hours, Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6C (Morris), Lieutenant 6 (Grierson), Sergeant 6 (Buckler), Engine 61 (Nasti), Tanker 6 (Gaylor), and Brush 6 (Williams) were alerted to 2051 Hatfield Road for the woods fire. In addition, Prince Frederick Brush 2 was brought to the call. Units arrived to find a fully-involved shed and a portion of woods on fire. Crews quickly advanced one pre-connected line and two booster lines quickly bringing the fire under control. Units returned to service at 1745 hours.
