| Wednesday February 11, 2009 at 1645 hours, Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6A (Montgomery), Squad 6 (Lt Robison), Engine 62 (Sgt Buckler), and Ambulance 68 (Nasti) were alerted for the pedestrian struck at Route 2 & Dalrymple Road. Units arrived to find a child lying in the roadway that had been struck by a vehicle, suffering from a leg & head injury. Units quickly packaged the patient up and loaded him into the back of Ambulance 68. The patient was flown to Children's Hospital via Trooper 2. Engine 62 handled the Landing Zone.
