| Shortly after 1500 hours on Sunday February 8, 2009, units from Anne Arundel County & Calvert County were alerted for the brush fire in the area of Route 260 & Sansbury Road. Units arrived to find a vacant farm-house and several acres of brush well-involved. Additional units were immediately requested including Tanker 6 (Grierson, C). Once on the scene, the crew assisted with Water Supply and extinguishing the remaining fire.
During this operation, several crews remained in quarters. However, due to the depletion of apparatus from surrounding departments, Prince Frederick Tanker 2 and Benedict (Charles) Brush 83 transferred to Huntingtown VFD.
