On February 1, 2005 at 0617 hours, Company 2 (Prince Frederick), Company 6 (Huntingtown), Company 7 (St Leonard), Engine 83 (Benedict), and Truck 3 (Solomons) were alerted to 305 Main Street (India Garden Restauraunt) for the commerical building fire. Engine 21 (Sgt Dalrymple) arrived on the scene to find light-smoke showing from Side One of a one-story (with basement) restauraunt. Chief 6 (Osbourn), Chief 6A (Riffe), Chief 6B (Hayes), Engine 61 (F/F Nasti), and Squad 6 (Lt. Cox) arrived on the scene just as the fire began to present and greet itsself to us. The crew from Engine 21 advanced a line to the first floor while the crew from Engine 61 advanced their own line to the basement. The two crews found fire on both levels apparently extending from the same location. Both crews performed a quick primary search while the Squad crew conducted a secondary search; both proving negative. Both Thermal Imager's from Engine 61 and Squad 6 were utilized. Units from Huntingtown operated on the fireground until 0907 hours assisting Company 2 units with overhaul and assisting the Fire Marshall. A job well done to all units on the fireground. Captain 2 (D'Agostino) held Command and Safety Officer 2 (Scott) held Accountability.

Many thanks to F/F G. Farrell (Company 6) for the pics.
