Volunteers Recognized by County Commissioners

Tuesday June 24, 2008, the Volunteers of Calvert County were invited to the weekly meeting amongst the County Commissioners. Captain Bernie Collins was on-hand to represent the Huntingtown VFD. The purpose was to recognize the Chief's and their respective departments for having a scratch rate of less than 1%. In 2007, the Calvert County departments responded to 20,489 responses (an increase of 2,000 runs from 2006).
