| During the MSFA Convention, the Huntingtown Volunteers joined in the annual Kentland VFD Volleyball tournament. The tournament began Tuesday June 17, 2007 with a total of 10 fire department teams. Huntingtown VFD was the only team from Calvert County but joined in with several other companies. The first game, Huntingtown played La Plata VFD. Unfortunately, we lost by several points. In the second match, it was tight, but we beat Kentland VFD by 6 points. In the 3rd game, the Huntingtown VFD beat Bladensburg VFD. On the 4th game, late in the afternoon, the Huntingtown VFD lost the final game to the "PG Lifers". However, we all had a great time and thanks for the hospitailty of the Kentland VFD.
----Much better than last year when we walked away with the "Dead Ass Last" trophy.
