Carson Road Woods Fire

Monday March 24, 2008 at 1250 hours, Engine Company 6 was alerted for the brush fire at 865 Carson Road. Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6B (Montgomery), Engine 61 (Miller), Brush 6 (Hengstenberg), and Jeep 6 (Buckler) arrived to find a working woods fire quickly spreading. Additional units were requested including Brush 2, Jeep 2, Tanker 2, and Forestry. One attack line and several booster lines were advanced to quickly bring the fire under control. Command was terminated at 1352 hours.
