| Friday March 21, 2008 at 0925 hours, Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6A (Spriggs), Squad 6 (Lt Thrasher), and Ambulance 69 (Montgomery Jr) were alerted along with Company 1 units for the overturned vehicle at Old Bayside & Beaver Dam Road (103 box). While en route, Communications received additional information that the helicopter would be needed. Chief 6A arrived with units from Company 1 to find the patient out of the vehicle with multi-traumatic injuries. Chief 6A established Command. Squad 6 re-routed to Beach Elementary to establish the Landing Zone and cleared 45 minutes later.
