After checking on 151 Amber Way several times throughout the day and evening, crews left the house with no smoke or fire showing. The last fire watch by the Huntingtown Volunteers concluded around midnight. At 0134 hours, after a long day before with very little sleep, the Huntingtown Volunteers and the same mutual aid companies from before were alerted back to 151 Amber Way for the house fire. Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6B (Montgomery), Engine 61 (Nutwell), Squad 6 (Buckler), and Tanker 6 (Montgomery, Jr) arrived to find heavy fire showing again, however, this time the house had completely collapsed into the foundation. On the scene, the Sheriff's Department advised of a suspicious person in the woods with conflicting stories. Crews from Company 6 and Company 5 advanced two attack lines to bring the fire finally under control. The Box assignment was held within 5 minutes to Company 6 and Company 5 only. At 0234 hours, all units returned to service. This 2nd fire is currently being investigated as suspicious in nature.
