| January 16, 2008 at 2111 hours, Squad 6 (Sgt Morris) was dispatched to Route 231 and Yardley Drive for the overturned vehicle. Company 2 units arrived to find a single-vehicle overturned, the driver ejected, and passenger trapped. Squad 6 arrived, assisted units with extrication of the passenger which took approximately 10 minutes. Upon completion of the extrication, Squad 6 searched the vicinity of the scene with the Thermal Imager for any additional victims, which proved negative. Unfortunately, the driver was pronounced dead on the scene. Squad 6 cleared at 2155 hours. |
