| This past Saturday, dozens of members, family, and friends gathered down at the McKenny River House on Potts Point (Patuxent River) in Huntingtown, Md. This has been the meeting spot for the past few years and the location of the annual summer blow-out. Once again, it was a great time and huge success. The weather couldn't have been more beautiful. Close to 100 people attended and participated in the many festivities including, a 100' slip and slide (with 2 dozen bottles of shampoo), volleyball, and several other activities. Several dishes of food were provided by the members and Dale Bowen supplied the pig, chicken, hamburgers, and hotdogs.
Many thanks to everybody that attended and to the local sponsors: J & J Portables, Butt's Up BBQ, Bowen's Grocery (donated 10 gift certificates) that were raffled off.
