| Sunday July 22, 2007 at 0614 hours, the Huntingtown Volunteers and Ambulance 58 (Dunkirk) were dispatched to Lower Marlboro Road and Academy Hills for the overturned vehicle. This brought Chief 6B (Montgomery), Squad 6 (Bowen, D), Engine 62 (Farrell), and Ambulance 68 (Stewart). Units arrived to find a single vehicle on it's side. The driver lost control, ran up an enbankment, striking and shearing off a telephone pole. Fortunately, the driver was not injured and refused all medical treatment. He was however, handed off to awaiting deputies for other reasons. Units returned to service at 0638 hours. |
