| Since November, the Volunteers of Huntingtown have been communicating regulary with a New York based production company about the possibility of having Huntingtown VFD included in a national television series. The company, Hybrid Films (http://www.hybridfilms.tv/main.html) has been preparing a series based on fire department's across the United States. This series (if approved) will be viewed on the "Oxygen" network. Originally, in November, Huntingtown VFD sent in a resume/application along with thousands of other departments.
We received word this week, that we were selected amongst only a handful of departments. This is a great accomplisment that we have acheived to go from a group of thousands down to one handful. From July 5 - July 7, the production company will be interviewing members and taping the day to day activities that occur in the station.
Congratulations and an outstanding job to the Huntingtown Volunteers. |
