| With every single piece of Huntingtown apparatus on the street operating at the first-due trailer fire, the fill-in crews got some action. At 2303 hours, Prince Frederick Engine 21 (filling-in at Company 6) was alerted for the vehicle fire at Hardesty Road and Kappatos Way. Chief 6C (Hayes) cleared the fireground along with Prince Frederick Tanker 2. Units arrived to find a fully-involved auto which was quickly extinguished. Due to a rupture of the gasoline tank, Engine 71 heading north for a transfer, was requested to the scene with absorbent. Due to the tags missing, the Fire Marshal was requested. The vehicle came back stolen from DC. Units returned to service at 2355 hours. This ended the day with: One working house fire, one auto fire, accident with entrapment, accident with ejection, two more auto accidents, a possible house fire, smoke investigation, tree down, landing zone, and 10 Medicals. |
