| Last Thursday April 19 and Friday April 27, the Huntingtown Volunteers traveled across the street to Huntingtown High School in an attempt to try and recruit some of the teenagers before the school year ended. With only a few applications brought, we knew this was going to quickly have to change. By both days end, a total of 72 students asked for applications to our department. The event was a total success. Thanks to the 7 members for making this possible and also to the Calvert County Recruitment Coordinator, W. Hardesty and most importantly, the staff and faculty at Huntingtown High School.
Anybody that is interested in joining, can print the application off the home page or stop by the station and pick one up. |
