Tanker assists with Trash Truck Fire

On Thursday April 26, 2007 at 0445 hours, Company 1 (North Beach) was alerted for the vehicle fire at the Owings Post Office. However, when units arrived they found a trash truck with it's load on fire. Due to this, Tanker 6 (Nasti) was requested to the run. Tanker 6 arrived, supplied Engine 11 with water, and the crew assisted with extinguishing the fire. Tanker 6 returned to service within the hour.
