| A few weekends ago, our member, Ty Lester scored 1st place in the State Skills USA program. Today, the Calvert County Recruitment Coordinator and Public Safety Officials along with the principal of the Vo-Tech program met during their regular scheduled class to present Ty with a medal for his hard earned efforts during the competition. Along with these representatives, three crews from Huntingtown (Chief 6, E-61, T-6, A-69) were en route to stand proud of Ty (unfortunately, A-69 was dispatched on two back-to-back calls, and E-61 and T-6 were dispatched for an electrical fire). We once again would like to congratulate Ty and all the members from Huntingtown and surrounding Calvert County departments for their hard work in the Cadet program.
