| A few days ago, the Huntingtown Volunteers took delivery of the brand new SCBA purchased through the FEMA grant we were awarded in January. This delivery includes over 40 SCBA bottles and packs, 5 Rapid Intervention (RIT) packs (2 for Squad, 1 for E-61, 1 for E-62, 1 for Command 6), over 30 AV 2000 SCBA masks, and air packs for Confined space rescues.
By early summer, we are expecting the deliver of the Mako Breathing Air Trailer.
Members: On March 8th, a representative of MES will be at the station for the drill to train all members in the usage of these new SCBA packs. This training is mandatory to ride the apparatus once the SCBA is placed in service. |
