| On Sunday February 4, 2007 (minutes after clearing a chimney fire) at 2030 hours, Engine Company 6 was alerted for the auto fire at Plum Point Rd and Whipporwhill Lane. All 4 Huntingtown Chief's, Lt 6 (Thrasher), and Engine 62 (Nasti) arrived to find a Subaru station wagon well-involved. The crew advanced the front bumper line quickly extinguishing the fire. The Sheriff's Dept was requested due to the vehicle being in motion and also State Highway because the roadway froze over. Units cleared within 30 minutes. |
