| On Sunday December 17, 2006 at 1509 hours, the Huntingtown Volunteers, Ambulance 5 (Dunkirk), and the Medic were alerted for the auto accident involving a motorcyclist and sheriff's deputy in front of the Route 2/4 Liquors. Chief 6 (Osbourn), Squad 6 (Lt Thrasher), Engine 62 (Cooper), Ambulance 69 (Stewart), and Ambulance 68 (Wells, K) arrived to find the same. Apparently, local police had been chasing three motorcyclists from Prince Frederick. One of the motorcyclists struck a deputy's car at the accident scene. The second motorcyclist wrecked at Route 4 and Old Town Road (property damage only) and the third cyclist was able to escape. EMS units packaged the patient and was loaded for transport to PG Shock Trauma. Engine 62 handled the Landing Zone. Command (Chief 6) was terminated 45 minutes later. |
