On Saturday December 9, 2006 at 1456 hours, Engine 151 (Navy Base), Company 6 (Huntingtown), Company 2 (Prince Frederick), and Tanker 5 (Dunkirk) were alerted to 3442 Bristol Ct for the house fire. Company 6 units alerted were: Chief 6 (Osbourn), Chief 6A (Riffe), Chief 6B (Hayes), Chief 6C (Spriggs), Engine 61 (Sgt Nasti), Engine 62 (Cox, D), Squad 6 (Lt Thrasher), Tanker 6 (Cox, C), and Ambulance 69 (Inscoe, D). Engine 151 (Capt D'Intino) arrived to find a two-story wood-frame house with smoke showing. The crew advanced an attack line through the front door and found a kitchen well-involved with fire, with extension into the 2nd floor. Additionally, the fire broke through the walls, made its way up the vinyl siding and extended into the attic. The crews from Engine 61, Engine 21, and Engine 12 advanced additional lines to assist Engine 151 on the first floor, as well as extinguish the fire in the rear of the house and check the floor above and attic. The fire was quickly brought under control and all searches proved negative. Chief 6 held the command and units were released two hours later.
