| On Friday December 8, 2006 at 0858 hours, Chief 6 (Osbourn), Squad 6 (Cooper), Engine 62 (Cox, D), and Ambulance 69 (Stewart) along with Engine 151 (Navy Base) and Ambulance 18 (North Beach) were alerted to 2975 Plum Point Road for the auto accident. Units arrived to find a two-vehicle accident, three patients with one trapped in the driver's seat. The crew from Squad 6 arrived and went to work assisting Engine 151 already at work. The "A" post, "B" post, and driver's side door were removed to extricate the patient. Engine 62 established the landing zone. However, upon Trooper 7's landing, the engine failed and was unable to take-off. The patient was loaded into Ambulance 69 and transported to Calvert Memorial with the Medic. Two additional patients were transported via Ambulance 18. Command was terminated at 1001 hours. Command: Acting Captain 15 |
