Huntingtown VFD's Monthly Event

As we do every month, this past Saturday July 8th, the Volunteers took the evening off and enjoyed it at the McKenny River House located alongside the Patuxent River in Huntingtown. Over 40 members and their family and friends showed up at 1300 hours and didn't leave until several hours after dark. A volleyball net, and 200 foot slip and slide were the main attraction along with a large array of food and beverages courtesy of Chief Osbourn and his wife Kelley.

Many, many thanks to Captain Mckenny and his family, J and J Portables, the Osbourn's and the fill-in crews. We wouldn't of been able to enjoy the evening off if not for our outlying stations filling-in.
