On Monday June 19, 2006 at 1957 hours, Company 6 (Huntingtown) was dispatched second-due for the barn fire at 7031 Briscoes Turn Road. This assignment brought Chief 6B (Hayes), Engine 62 (Lt Montgomery), Tanker 6 (Morgan), Ambulance 69 (Lt Nutwell) and 12 Huntingtown Volunteers. Chief 6B was first to arrive, established command and reported a fully-involved barn fire. Engine 62 arrived on location picking up Engine 52's (Dunkirk) line and advanced a second attack line to assist in extinguishment of the barn. At 2200 hours, Huntingtown units returned to service.

While these three crews operated on the above incident, 13 additional members staffed the remaining pieces of apparatus at the station. Many thanks to the several dozen people that gave countless hours to ensure our apparatus got out while over 45 additional members were in Ocean City for Firemen's Convention!
