On Sunday May 7, 2006, Engine 61 (Hildwine), Jeep 6 (Colleli), and Ambulance 68 (Gadway, J) headed to Indian Head for the annual Southern MD Parade/Convention. Various departments from the Tri-County area participated in the festivities. After the parade, the Huntingtown Volunteers teamed up and participated in the Battle of the Buckets, Fire Truck Pull, and the Bucket Brigade.

It was announced during the awards presentation that Engine 61 (91' Pierce Lance) brought home 2nd best appearing Engine 1250 gpm. Afterwards, the Engine crew headed to dinner for F/F Bivens "birthday". All units returned back home for service later that afternoon.
