On this Easter Sunday shortly before 0200 hours, 6 of our members had just returned from attending/filling-in at Company 5's Banquet. Another dozen or so members were still at the firehouse working the last hour of the Monthly Texas Hold'em Tournament. At 0151 hours, Company 6 was alerted for the smoke investigation in the area of Kent Road and Penny Lane. Chief 6 (Osbourn), Engine 61 (Sgt Nasti), and Tanker 6 (Morrison, D) quickly began heading north. While enroute, Communications, advised they had received two additional calls reporting a house on fire in that area. Chief 6 arrived moments later, finding heavy fire through the roof of a single-story residence at 7034 Kent Road. Command was established as the Box was being upgraded. Mutual aid units were alerted from Company 5 (Dunkirk), Engine 12 (North Beach), and Company 2 (Prince Frederick).

Moments later, Chief 6A (Riffe), Chief 6B (Hayes), Engine 61, Engine 62 (Rountree Sr), Squad 6 (Lt Montgomery), Tanker 6, Brush 6 (Cox, D), and Ambulance 69 (Wells, K) arrived on location. The 31 Huntingtown Volunteers quickly went to work in normal fashion. The crew from E-61 split into two crews, forced the front door and advanced two handlines into the residence that had two rooms involved with fire while the crew from E-62 advanced a 3rd handline. Due to the possibility of trapped occupants and heavy fire, the Squad crew split into two crews. One crew began a quick primary search while the second crew began hooking ceiling to expose the fully-involved attic. Within minutes, the 3 Huntingtown attack crews brought the fire under control. After extinguishment, the crew from Engine 52 and Engine 12 was requested to enter the residence to assist in opening up and Overhaul. The searches were negative and the remainder of Huntingtown units cleared at 0413 hours.

**On a side-note, this is the same address that we responded to on February 12th. A local alarm was alerted for an investigation and was quickly upgraded. Units found two campers fully involved. Also--this is the 3rd month in a row during the Texas Hold'em Tournament that the Huntingtown Volunteers have run a significant call (Feb-2 alarm house fire; March-Auto Accident with entrapment and fire).
