On Saturday April 1, 2006, the Huntingtown Volunteers attended the funeral services via Engine 62 for Past Chief Croson. In addition to attending the services, the crew was assigned a detail for the funeral procession. Several departments showed their support for the family and friends of Chief Croson.

While leaving the funeral detail, Captain 6 (Mckenny), Engine 62 and Ambulance 69 were dispatched for an ATV accident on Kings Landing Road. Units found a single patient that had struck a tree head-on at a high rate of speed. Ambulance 69 treated the patient while Engine 62 established a Landing Zone for Trooper 7.

With Engine 62 and Ambulance 69 on the above run, Brush 6 and Jeep 6 were alerted to Company 2's first due for a working woods fire. Brush 6 and Jeep 6 operated on this incident for approximately one hour.

Within minutes of the above two runs, and four pieces on the street, Engine 61 was alerted to Dalrymple Road for the local alarm.

**Our deepest heart-felt condolences go out to the Croson family.
