On Monday December 26, 2005 at 1600 hours, Company 6 (Huntingtown) was alerted for the serious auto accident with a vehicle overturned in the area of Lowery Road and Cygnet Way. Chief 6 (Osbourn), Squad 6 (Chief 6A, Riffe), Engine 61 (Lt Cox) Ambulance 68 (Suchter) and Ambulance 69 (Robinson) arrived to find a single-vehicle that had struck several trees.

While our units were packing up, Communications contacted Chief 6 and advised they were in the process of dispatching another call on Channel 1. Chief 6, Squad 6, Engine 62, and Ambulance 69 were dispatched to the Giant Food in Prince Frederick for the electrical fire. Engine 62 arrived Side "A" while the Squad took Side "C". A small fire was found in the deli and was quickly extinguished. Command (Chief 2, Ficke) held Company 2 and Company 6, returning the remainder of the box. Chief 6 and Chief 6A assisted Chief 2A (D'Agostino) with the Interior division. Company 6 units assisted with Utilities and smoke removal before returning to service.
