| On Saturday, October 29, 2005, two crews departed the station for seperate events. Squad 6 assisted in the funeral for the passing of Chief Paul Thorne. He devoted his entire life to the Forestville VFD and left a mark throughout the entire Prince George's County Volunteer Fire Department.
While Squad 6 was handling the detail, Engine 61 met with Company 2 members for a house burning on Duke Street. Several evolutions were conducted in the two-story wood-frame house. Crews trained in hose evolutions, search and rescue, basic fireground operations. Many thanks to Company 2 for the invite and the pictures! |
