| On December 9th, 2016, at approximately 1100 hours, Area Box 2-13 was dispatched to Cassell Boulevard for the reported basement fire. This assignment brought Engine 61 (K.Kady), Tanker 6 (J. Threlfall), and Chief 6. Units from Company 2 arrived on the scene to find fire showing from side Charlie, and reported a room off in the basement. Company 2 units quickly extinguished. Engine 61 ensured Engine Company 2's water supply, and assisted with salvage and overhaul operations.
