| At approximately 1915 hours, on Saturday, June 26th, 2016, the Area Box was sounded for 6700 block of Aralia Avenue, for the reported working house fire. This assignment brought units from Saint Leonard, Prince Frederick, Solomons, Benedict, and Huntingtown. Units from Company 7 arrived, and reported a 2 story split foyer, with heavy fire throughout the second floor, and through the roof. Units were evacuated due to structural integrity during fire suppression.
Engine 61 (Capt. Threlfall), Tanker 6 (Cox), and Captain 6 (R. Grierson) responded on the incident. Engine 61 arrived and assisted with extinguishment in the basement, performed a secondary search, and assisted with salvage and overhaul. Tanker 6 provided several loads of water. Company 6 units cleared at approximately 2100 hours.
