| Units from Huntingtown were alerted this morning to a MVC on Deep Landing Road in the 601 box. The Assistant Chief (Morris), Deputy Chief (Clark), Squad 6 (C.Cox.), E62 (Thrasher), and A68 (Gaylor) responded on the call. While en route Calvert communications advised police were on location with a vehicle over a embankment into the trees. Minutes later communications advised the car may be on fire. Units arrived to find a four door sedan with the engine compartment on fire. The crew from E62 quickly handled the fire as the squad and ambulance crew assured all occupants were out of the vehicle. A68 treated a single patient and units went in service within 20 minutes. Pictures courtesy of member Dennis Hook. |
