COMMERCIAL BUILDING IN CHESAPEAKE BEACH

On Sunday February 8th, units from the northern end of the county were dispatched for the building fire at Smokey Joes Grill in the Rod and Reel Marina Complex of Chesapeake Beach. Units arrived to find heavy smoke issuing from the building and a well involved fire on the second floor and attic. Crews all worked together to bring the fire under control within 30 to 45 minutes with no reported injuries.
