| Thursday July 31, 2014, at 1728 hours, just 4 hours after the first due House Fire on Stephen Reid Road, the Huntingtown Volunteers were back on the street, responding for the Working Building Fire at 150 Solomons Island Road, next to the Prince Frederick Walmart. Initially dispatched an Investigation, the Prince Frederick VFD found a two-story abandoned barn well-involved with fire and requested the full Box Assignment. Huntingtown VFD Assistant Chief (Morris), Deputy Fire Chief (Clark), Engine 61 (Lt Ward) & Rescue Squad (Cook) responded on the alarm. Engine 61 arrived on location, stretched the rear 400' attack line and extended it with one standpipe rack, backing up Prince Frederick VFD Engine 21. Due to quick work, within 10 minutes, the assignment was held to the Prince Frederick VFD & Huntingtown VFD Engine 61. The Wagon cleared 30 minutes later.
