For the 4th time this year, the Huntingtown Volunteers have been credited with a lifesave. On Friday July 18, 2014 at 0735 hours, the Volunteer Fire Department of Huntingtown was alerted for the cardiac arrest in the 1800 block of Stinnett Road. The members arrived on location with the Medic Unit and found deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff's Department performing CPR on a 63 year old male. BLS & ALS interventions were immediately initiated prior to loading the patient into Ambulance 69. While enroute to Calvert Memorial Hospital with CPR underway, the patient regained his pulse and began breathing on his own which continued upon transfer of care to the ER staff. Outstanding job to all members on the scene!
