| On Sunday November 10, 2013, at 1450 hours, an hour after clearing the large woods fire, units from the Northern End of Calvert & Southern End of Anne Arundel County were alerted for the Working House Fire at 8535 Stevens Road in the "Mount Harmony" section of Owings. The Fire Chief (Montgomery), Assistant Chief (Spriggs), Deputy Fire Chief (Riffe), Engine 62 (Lt Montgomery), Rescue Squad (Lt Ward) & Tanker (Spriggs, T) responded to the scene. Units arrived on location of a 2-story cape-cod with smoke showing. A bedroom in the rear of the house was found to be on fire. Engine 62 deployed a 3rd line backing up crews already at work. The Rescue Squad completed the secondary search and handled utilities. The fire was quickly extinguished and Huntingtown VFD units returned to service at 1542 hours.
