| Friday August 2, 2013 at 1814 hours, units from the Huntingtown VFD and surrounding companies were alerted for the "lawnmower fire 5 feet from a residence." The Fire Chief (Montgomery), Engine 61 (Smith), Squad 6 (Jeffery, B) & Ambulance 68 (Carson) arrived on location and found a fully-involved lawnmower with the side of the house on fire. Engine 61 quickly deployed the front bundle load knocking down all fire while the crew from Squad 6 laddered the side of the residence, removing all siding and checking for further extension. The crew from Ambulance 69 transported one civilian with burns to the arm. Within minutes the box was scaled back to the Huntingtown Volunteers, with all units returning to service 45 minutes after dispatch.
