| Friday June 14, 2013 at 2130 hours, the Fire Chief (Montgomery), Deputy Fire Chief (Riffe), Squad 6 (Lt Montgomery), Engine 62 (Montgomery) & Ambulance 69 (Hayden) were alerted for the auto accident in front of the 2/4 Liquors. The Huntingtown Volunteers arrived on location and found a two-vehicle t-bone accident with one patient suffering from serious injuries. While Ambulance 69 treated the patient, the crew from Squad 6 secured both vehicles. Engine 62 established a Landing Zone, as a helicopter was requested. One patient was transported by air to a local trauma center and a second patient was ground transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital by Dunkirk Ambulance 59. Units from the Huntingtown VFD returned to service at 2215 hours. |
