40th Annual Huntingtown VFD Awards Banquet & Installation Of Officers

During the evening hours of Saturday February 9th, over 250 people packed the Hall at Huntingtown for a very memorable event-The 40th Annual Installation of Officers & Banquet. Several members were recognized throughout the evening for their service to the department. The Master of Ceremonies was Doug Hill (From ABC 7 News). Food was provided by Thompson's Seafood Catering. The administrative awards were led by President Jason Jones. The operational awards were led by 2012 Fire Chief Jonathan Riffe, Assistant Chief Michael Montgomery and Deputy Chief Jessi Borden.

--The Top Runner of the Year (most runs in the history of the dept by a single member in one year): Tim Bevard with 1,509 responses
--Firefighter of the Year & Edward Morrison Memorial Award: Kenny Miller
--EMT of the Year: Tim Bevard
--Rookie Firefighter of the Year: Matt Montgomery
--Rookie EMT of the Year: Haley Morgal
--Fire Chiefs Award: Carole Fonfara
--Officer of the Year: Fire Chief Jonathan Riffe & Assistant Chief Mike Montgomery
--Fire Chief's Appreciation Awards: Dennis Hook, Ritchie Gibson, Phil Newman
--Special Fire Chief's Appreciation Awards: Assistant Chief Mike Montgomery, Deputy Chief Phil Morris, Deputy Chief Jessi Borden, Past Assistant Chief Caroll Spriggs, Past Deputy Chief Brian Thrasher, Past Deputy Chief Ricky Hayes
