Wednesday August 1, 2012 at 0530 hours, Chief 6B (Morris), Safety 6 (McKenny), Engine 62 (Montgomery Jr) & Ambulance 69 (Morgal, H) were alerted for the overturned vehicle with one trapped on Plum Point Road. Due to Squad 6 being out of service, 2 neighboring Squads were dispatched to the run but were quickly placed in service after the arrival of Huntingtown VFD. Units from the Huntingtown VFD arrived on location and found a single-vehicle overturned with the driver pinned inside. Engine 62's crew went to work, cribbing & stabilizing the vehicle, pulling a charged protection line and extricating the driver. Due to inclement weather, the patient was ground transported to a local trauma center.
